ACS - Animal Control System
This system is designed for animal control agencies for the purpose of capturing and tracking information on animals. Designed in a modular manner, the system provides easy to use menus from which to select functions. The newest enhancements to the software includes an optional photo imaging interface and HTML "Missing" and "Adoption Posters" with animal photos.
RECEIVING
An animal number is assigned and identifying information is recorded, such as type, breed, markings, name, name of veterinarian, neutering information, rabies tag #, whether the animal was brought in or picked up, owner information, and cage assigned to. CISCO provides the option to capture digital photos and display the photos for tracking, adoption and missing animals.
SHOTS/TREATMENT
This module records the shots or other treatment given the animal along with a follow-up date.
MEDICINE
This module records the type, amount, frequency, start & stop dates, follow-up date and staff ID of medication prescribed.
ANIMAL CHECKS
A code table for Work Type is provided so that this module can record such items as when the animal was fed or checked for other reasons.
RELEASE
This module tracks an animal's release from the facility. Included are date and time of release, to whom released, reason for release, relationship to animal, and person releasing the animal. This module can be used for adoption purposes.
COMPLAINTS
This module records complaints from businesses or individuals which could result in an animal pickup and provides the agency with the ability to enter a call type and dispatch information.
CITATIONS
Citations which are issued to animal owners are recorded and tracked in this module.
COLLECTIONS
Payments for citation related fees are recorded.
CAGE INVENTORY
Cage type, capacities and current populations are recorded.
SUPPLY INVENTORY
The agency may keep inventory records by inputting the type, quantity and reorder point for supplies.
SUPPLY TRANSACTIONS
Supply purchases or usage are recorded and interact with the Inventory module to add to or reduce quantity on hand.
CODE TABLES
Code tables used in the preceding modules are defined and maintained.
