CISBio can provide your corrections staff with a positive, quick and affordable solution to identify inmates throughout the facility using a fingerprint captured at Book-In.
A finger print image is captured during the initial book in. This image is then stored as a permanent addition to the inmates historical record. The image may then be used during that incarceration to confirm such things as medical transactions and book out processes. Inmate identity can also be immediately and positively confirmed upon re-entry to the facility for the life of the inmate.
The Biometric capture unit may be connected to an existing desktop computer using a simple USB, Plug and Play connection. An optional ruggedized hand held computer equiped with a Wi-Fi connection may also be used by the staff while moving throughout the facility.
