CISCO's, Mobile CAD puts the power of information at the responders fingertips. In the mobile CAD equiped vehicle, the emergency responders are able to query the State/Federal databases just as if they were sitting in the dispatch center. They are also able to research up to the second information on Agency BOLO's, Address Advisories, Premise History, Building and Business Information, Previous Calls for Service, Hazardous Materials Information, Standard Operating Procedures, Warrant Information, Permit Information and System Wide Master Name Search Information.
In addition to the information at hand, the responders will also be able to view pending and active calls for service, self dispatch, change unit statuses, securely message back and forth and view all call information on the assigned call with instant updates from the dispatch center.
Mobile CAD was developed by CISCO to work with the latest high speed wireless technologies available today. We have the flexibility of deploying Mobile CAD using either Thin Client Technology or Microsoft Terminal Services. The units are able to query information from the live database on the server. This has all been designed to be a highly cost effective solution that does not require a third party software switch.
