Warrant Tracking captures
information on both wanted persons and vehicles and tracks "transactions" or
action taken on existing warrants. A charge code table is maintained for use
by this module.
Civil Process handles the creation and tracking of civil process documents
such as subpoenas and judgments, maintains data on defendants, plaintiffs
and attorneys, as well as property seizures and auctions. Included are a
module which records interest to be calculated on amounts owed by defendants
and a module which performs the calculations. The Multiple Alias module is
also included here, so that additional aliases can be entered for defendants
in both warrants and civil process.
WARRANTS
MODULES
WARRANT ENTRY
The Warrant Tracking module captures data for wanted persons, including
employment and vehicle information. Warrants can be prepared with multiple
charges. NCIC descriptor information (sex, race, weight, height, hair color,
eyes, etc.), reason or charge, location of the warrant and remarks are
stored.
Nine pre-formatted reports are provided:
WARRANTS BY NAME
WARRANTS BY NUMBER
WARRANTS BY ENTRY DATE
ACTIVE WARRANTS BY NAME
WARRANTS BY STATUS
WARRANT AGING REPORT
WARRANTS BY ADDRESS
WARRANTS DUE TO EXPIRE
WARRANTS BY CAUSE NUMBER
WARRANT TRANSACTIONS
Warrant Transactions tracks action taken on warrants that have been entered
in Warrant Entry. The Warrant Transaction report lists all transactions for
a specified date range.
CIVIL PROCESS The Civil Process system provides several
functions:
Civil Process establishes the records on individuals and tracks information
such as the individual's name, address, personal descriptors, driver's
license, employer, plaintiff, and attorney. If any cautions are issued,
these appear on the top line of the record whenever it is retrieved for
viewing.
Civil Process Transactions tracks the individual's name, date and time,
officer, action taken, any payments, and remarks.
Attorney Information maintains data on attorneys and provides an Attorney
Table.
Civil Process Defendant and Plaintiff records defendant and plaintiff
information, respectively.
Civil Process Employer captures employment information for the defendant.
Civil Process Seizures provides property seizure data.
Civil Process Auction records information on seized property which has been
auctioned.
An Interest Calculation module calculates interest on amounts owed by
defendants, and the Interest Table maintains the information on the
percentage of interest to be charged, and the time periods for which the
rate is effective.
Reports include: Civil Process by Name; Civil Process by Attorney; and
Unserved Notices.
